Sharing
I just wanted to share a few photos with everyone since I finally took them off of my camera. I have been really bad about doing this since some of these phots went back to Christmas.
Here's Chloe looking cute as ever. We got a bunch of these in all film exposure. We had fun playing around with that.
Here's Kayla the day of her dance recital with her Great Grandaddy who just turned 90 this weeekend. She had a broken arm so she couldn't dance but they gave her flowers and introduced her to everyone on stage before the performances began. She looked Beautiful.

New Sibling
My kids just welcomed their little brother into the world yesterday. His name is Alexander (Xander) Robert Smith. Well, I think that is his middle name. Come on people, this is my ex's new baby, it really isn't that important to me. Nevertheless, my kids are ecstatic. I will admit, I am VERY happy for Stephanie. I just think she could do better than my ex. YUCK! Anyway, he is a cutie pie. My sister, Shelly went with me and the kids to the hospital and she got a lot of photos of them. I must say, I think Stephanie will realize now why I am suing for custody. At least, I hope she does. LOL Anyway, enjoy the photos of the new little man. Did I mention that he was born on June 9th, which is also the day that my ex and I were married on. Hehehehe, I couldn't help but laugh at that.

Running Scared
My ex husband seems very scared about our upcoming court date at the end of the month. He called me today and asked if I am still pursuing it or if he could talk to me and maybe work something out without including the courts. I did tell him that I would hear what he has to say but if it's nothing near what I want then he is outta luck. Did I mention that i am working on my laptop that I just got in February for school purposes and my wonderfully cute little 2 year old jumped on it while I was at work (Way to go watching him DADDY!) and cracked my screen. I now have this black crack across the left side of my screen that goes from not so bad to horrible to not so bad to, well you get my point. It is starting to fade again but I can't tell you what a pain in the ass it is to write with it there. It takes a lot of maneuvering of the screen to view what I just wrote. I wll get my pictures up tomorrow and show a photo of my beautiful new screen.
Anyway, just thought I would give a little update. i am hitting the bed so I can function at work tomorrow. Nighty Night!

No Recital For Kayla
My poor little princess had a accident yesterday. She was riding her bike and her sandal got got on the wheel and she fell. She ended up with a compound fracture of her left humerus bone. My husband took her to Sentara Princess Anne and they took x-rays. I felt sick to my stomach when I saw the x-ray photo. It was horrible. But what a tough little angel she ended up being. I was amazed at how composed she was. There were a few tears but nothing that I would have imagined. Sentara PA ended up transporting her by ambulance to CHKD and she met with an pediatric orthopaedic. He decided to do surgery right away on her arm where they place 3 pins in her arm which will be removed in 4 weeks and at that time they will put a cast on her arm for another two weeks. Unfortunately this means she can not dance in her rehearsal or recital on Friday and Saturday night. This, she cried about. She was heart broken to hear the news. The teachers decided that they wold present her after the awards since she cannot dance with her friends. Ugh! I just don't know what to do with myself right now. Not to mention, my Grandfather suffered a stroke this morning. he seems to be doing okay but it is quite obvious he had a stroke. He doesn't have much use of his right side and it is mostly in his face so it affects his speech. Anyway, more later, I'm exhausted and my egg extraction is in the morning at 6:30 am. Egg Extraction
So this is it. On May 7Th, my anniversary, I will start my meds for my egg donation. The woman that will be receiving my eggs has tried everything else for it only to fail. I am so happy that I can help her achieve this miracle and prayer of hers. I will have an Ultrasound on the 12Th to see how the egg follicles are developing and they will proceed from there. They said I may have the egg extraction on the 16 or 17Th. I am hoping for the 17Th since my daughters recital is on the 15Th and 16Th. I can only imagine how shitty I will feel at the recital if it is done that morning. I have been praying that this works for this woman and hope that I can help her achieve such a blessing. I do know that her husband is in the Navy but this is all that I have been told and of course what other methods they have tried. Wish me luck!link | posted by Kat at 10:19 PM

Guardian of Item
My kids have now been appointed a Guardian of Item. This is just the first step in the custody process. I am awaiting the court dates and I am getting very impatient. Kayla has been sick this weekend with a fever over 102. Jared came back from his dad's house sick with a fever of the same and missed 2 days of school due to it. They always come back to me sick with something. Did I mention that their dad has 5 snakes. Completely disgusting creatures and inappropriate when children are in the house. I know it's been a while. I may never get back on track with writing in this daily. But that just goes to show how busy my life really is. Today is Sunday and there is so much to tell. I'm just going to lay it out there and say screw it if the people I don't want to know find out. On Friday, my lawyer filed my papers for me to gain custody of my older two children. Our court date will most likely land in July or August. I am also asking for child support. I am very excited about this. I went ahead and did this because I am tired of dealing with his shit when it comes to the kids. He does the most stupid shit when he has them and the kids some home and tell me all about it. Not to mention that he has owed me $200 for the last 2 months and he has yet to pay me. He also thought it was appropriate to get in a fight with his pregnant girlfriend on the interstate, pull over on the shoulder, get out of the car and hop the railing so that he could vanish for 10 min. Of course this left my two children and the girlfriend in the car on the shoulder of the interstate. HOW STUPID CAN A MAN GET? This is endangerment and I have had enough of it. I am asking for full custody, but of course the odds of me getting that are slim since we already have a joint custody agreement. So, we are hoping to land with joint custody with physical placement in the mother's home (that's me) and the father to have visitation every other weekend while paying child support.
